If any member of this board is interested in contributing to the successor to the Pagan Association then by general consensus it would appear that you should be at the Wellington on 29th March 2009 from 7.30 pm or to have communicated to a representative who is attending your wishes regarding such. (I. ..wait with baited breath and the ..........) A fiver for the 1st correct answer

So is this meeting therefore only then open to moot leaders, or can anyone with any kind of interest attend?

As far as I understand it this meeting is open to all people who want there to be some sort of central communication point for Birmingham and Midlands pagans and want to have an input into how that happens.
Matt's original post is on page 2 of the General Board messages.

It's a bit short notice but has anyone thought of opening up the invite to other pagans locally who might not read these message boards? Or who do not attend moots but they interact with socially? It seems to me the community will benefit most from looking forward to expansion, rather than backwards at what is now lost and in the past?

Have I told you two lately that I love you (in a very platonic manner, obviously) If your love for me was more than platonic you'd be very disappointed

Hi all
I was wondering if this was going to be an open invite to moots outside of the old PA, but as it happens my wife is working on Sunday night and I am sitting on the children ...
Er no!!! Baby sitting..
That's worse!! Looking after the kids.

I think it would have a distinct advantage to have had you there Singe. Still, priorities!

What about whoever our current PF rep is? (Nigel???) Or someone else from the PF who was able to speak on their behalf?

What about whoever our current PF rep is? (Nigel???) Or someone else from the PF who was able to speak on their behalf? Rhiannon I have asked Nigel and put out a general appeal for someone to attend. I'd bring along the kids but it would be far too disruptive Twins aged 22 months - mobile and very inquisitive 3 year old who would egg the twins on 11 year old that would proclaim her boredom every 30 seconds. I do have a suggestion for a possible name. It is an idea stolen from Ipswich where they have the Ipswich Pagan Council. We could have a Birmingham Pagan Council or even a West Midlands Pagan Council. Regards Singe

Hi All, Just to tempt & tease you (ha ha) ten of us met up & discussed things to do with the way forward. I'm sure the 'news' update will be sent out in time, just thought I'd set the tempter and keep you all in waiting keep you all keen on how as a community we are doing our best for everyone. On a more positive/serious posting. I must say, I think, it all went well & plans are positive and have all our best interestes at the core of the values we all seem to share. Wassail Simon/Hawker
