Some ISP's have on-site boards. I used to have one with the Pagan Midlands site. It was simple to set up and had no ads.

Whats the rush? Lets get some idea of who is going to do the site and forum and lets get the whole job done in one. There's a real danger here that different people are starting to set up different things and it will all end in a great big mess. So no temporary sites, no setting anything up without talking to the WHOLE of the group and getting AGREEMENT is the best way forward.

No-one is designing it yet Duane, as far as I am aware, after the discussion last week, Matt and Derek are contacting interested people to sound them out about the design of the new site. No-one has come back with any decisions as yet, (I have had no contact from anyone,) so I would rather that we did not jump the gun and start setting up different things all over the place until there is a consensus on who is leading the design group and who is designing what and where. I appreciate you are keen to get started but we need all our ducks in a row first.

Duane, please listen to Glyn, we are waiting for Matt and Derek to sort out a designer for the new site and we dont need a temporary one as we still have this one untill the new one is up and running.

Hi All,
I agree, I understand how keen we all are to make start etc, but lets not muck it up by too much haste, lets do it collectively - get it right. Get all the aspects of our beginning right for us all, right for and right for the future.
Lets make the best of our collective knowledge/experience to benefit our pagan community.

I agree, there isn't a big hurry and as Simon said, too much haste can and will cause major problems when it comes to the design and also the running of the boards. Having worked on boards myself, I know that if things are not worked out right at the beginning there is a heck of a lot that can and does go wrong with the day to day running of the boards. Whilst we all are raring to go it is a very good idea to sit back and really think about things logically before jumping in with both feet, so to speak.
