A couple of 'brufen does the trick on the cramps, but for a more natural remedy how about a hot water bottle or heated wheat bag on the abdomen? As for water retention, you should drink more water to expel more water, or if it gets severe, go to a herbalist or your doctor for anti water retention remedies.

The reflexology point for the uterus, ovaries & fallopian tubes on the foot are just below the ankle bone & across the top of the foot connecting the 2 points (outside is the ovaries point, inside the uterus point). As far as the boobs go the reflexology point for them is on the top of the foot just below the toes.
Oils to use include rosemary, geranium & lavender.
Failing that I have some suggestions off women with the following cure for PMT: chocolate & a baseball bat, arsenic optional.

It is not PMT it is PMS!! Syndrome not tension!!! Any effects are PMS such as the boobs thing and aches, pains and mood swings. It is like hayfever, people suffer to different degrees, but it is still hayfever. I'll go with the geranium oil in the bath and add marjoram too for extra help. Go easy on the geranium though, only 3 or 4 drops, as it can make you a bit hyperactive!!

Do you really think I'd be that interested when they talked about the vagina when I was too busy staring at the lads butt infront of me at school.

When I get pain from my ovaries and womb, I place an Amber crystal in my pocket. It helps to ease the pain and I have done this for a few years now.

Increased protein in the diet is supposed to help with muscle issues during menstruation - it also helps women who have back problems that are worse at this time.
There is an exercise - lie on your back with your knees bent and roll your knees to right and left, as near to the floor on each side as you can manage. Do this several times and then rest; repeat at intervals.
Evening Primrose oil has had good results in clinical tests.
Herbal treatments that you can make at home:
Two weeks before period: marigold, chamomile or peppermint tea regularly - to avoid tension building up.
Premenstrual tension and painful breasts: Sage and fennel tea. Compress or poultice of chamomile or marigold.
For water retension: parsley, juniper or corn silk. (Parsley is also used to regulate periods).
Cramps: infusion of valerian 3 times a day (use proper dose and do not use in any circumstance if you may be pregnant!)
Heavy bleeding: infusion of lady's mantle double strength 3 times a day. (Also good for menopause problems.)
During painful periods: Double strength chamomile tea - add three or four cloves or a little ginger. Also use the same mixture for bath - or as a compress applied to the lower abdomen.
For irritability and anxiety: St John's Wort.
Hope something here helps!

I right with you on this one. I don't know if its my age but my life around my "Moon Time" dose a nose dive, I get pains everywhere, back legs head, toe craps (when one toe decides to head south and the rest of my foot stay normal) the pain is incredable and it mainly happens in the middle on the night. I get a server bout of the flu with yellow coated tonsil's, sweats and a general feeling of being totally crap. I hate the world and everyone in it. and I'm convinced the gods are about to send their final call for me. Then within days of my visitor arriving I'm fine again. Oh to be a man ;D ;D

Posh, try adding a bit more Soya to your diet, it is supposed to help your hormone levels to balance a bit better and ease some of the PMS.
