Greetings,
I'm sorry I wasn't more organised about bringing music and songs to the Great Western Beltane Ritual last night - my excuses are that I'm under the weather and new ...
Would anyone be interested in a musical gathering to rehearse some Midsummer tunes, dances and/or songs?
I can bring a tenor recorder or a flute, and a poor singing voice, as well as descant recorder.
Does anyone have any Midsummer music?
Thanks,
Amanda

Is anyone familiar with this songbook? A Bard's Book of Pagan Songs: Stories and Music from the Celtic World by Hugin the Bard, pub. Llewellyn It's apparently a re-telling in original music of the Mabinogion, including pieces set around the Wheel of the Year: www.rambles.net/hugin_pagansongs.html

I'm interested in collaborating. Play rythmn guitar, although not familar with the song book. I usually play contempoary pagan music though like: Gaia Consort - Beltaine Fires www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eea0LITNUxEBut open to new stuff, is that what your playing atm?
