There always seems something wrong with cooking things in the microwave, but then again I am the man who gets food poisoning of conveniance foods as I'm no good at cooking them, only eat things I've prepared on the cooker

Cakes cooked in the microwave have to be eaten within about an hour and a half otherwise they go stale.............

I'm actually a good cook I'm just not great with a lot of the pre prepared stuff, I have to cook near enough everything from scratch except for pizza & oven chips

I've cooked pizza from scratch but I admit to making the bread dough in a breadmaker as my hands are too arthritic to knead!! Here's an easy recipe for a pasta topper. Cut sweet peppers / potatoes / tomatoes / parsnips / swede into chunky pieces, put into a roasting dish, add half a dozen cloves of garlic, and a tablespoon of your choice of cooking oil, toss veges to ensure they are coated with oil, and roast for approx 1 hour gas mark 3 (apologies if you have an electric oven, don't know the conversion) test to see whether all veges are cooked through. Then cook your favourite pasta and add roasted veges, top off with the grated cheese of your choice and eat..........
