Dear all. I am prepared to host a meeting of all interested parties. In order to make this work I would like to suggest that anyone who wants to attend, posts, including available dates for the two week period of sunday 1st to sunday 15th March. I will then collate the availabilities and come up with the best fit date. I will then contact all responders and arrange a suitable location and time. For anyone who cannot attend (as we know we will not get a mutually suitable date) I will take responsibility for garnering their input to bring to the meeting.
I think that should pretty much cover it for a start, lets see if we can get something going! If a majority aren't happy with me doing it, thats fine too, step up and make an alternative suggestion. I have a few ideas about what I think needs to be addressed and will happily put these up on the board, but I want to keep it as uncluttered as possible so far, but if people want to suggest areas of concern, I will also prepare an agenda and order of business to try to keep a rein on things.
Ok, folks, over to you - let me know what you want to do. I would suggest posting on this thread if you are interested in coming, but starting another to discuss ideas around this suggestion. I would like to keep this thread fairly straightforward and uncluttered to make it easier to keep track of who wants to come and when they can....
Cheers
Matt

That seems to be a possitive way forward Matt, however it might be nice if you were to liase with Roz and Penga, after all they are, it seems, trying to do exactly what you are trying to do.
Again maybe too many chiefs and .............................
Three heads are better than one after all. Lets put everyone together and maybe something good will come from this whole mess!

I think if you check my replies and suggestions on a thread (carn't remember which one off hand, I think I already did this thing once) Think it was like that bone song, the moot leaders, speak to the moot goers, then moot leaders come back to speak to roz & penga, then roz and penga but it on the board via Rhiannon, then everyone know what the date is!! and were the meeting is! and the word is taken as law. not totally in tune, but do it to the tune of "the thigh bones connected to the hip bone etc etc etc

Hi folks, am happy to liase with anyone, or let anyone else organise this - don't care as long as we move forward. Roz seems to be better able to get on here at present, so am using this post as a way of getting in touch with ANYONE who wants to input to our community - am starting this from a viewpoint that EVERYTHING that has gone before is put to one side and we have a completely fresh start.

I work shifts so when ever but mostly can make 10 pm + but the ethos of my ideas is more important than the corpreal reality of my attendance and I hope that if I am unable to attend they perhaps I may inspire someone who does (attend that is), but then again.... wyrdier (is that a real word?) things may happen, but may I extend an invitation to the outgoing as their opinions are the history that moulds the future which we ignore at our peril. Well the countdown of days starts now, I take it the 1st of March is out of the running and since only 9 people have been involved in the thread it shouldn't be to difficult to collate

Best bets so far seem to be the Wellington Sunday afternoon/evening a central meeting place used for PA general meetings in the past with the best wheelchair access or the Great Western on a Tuesday night on the opposite week to the Wellington moot as can just about get wheelchair access (+ on 11 route) and has a good turnout as is
