I have heard the sound of distant thunder I have felt Boreas rumbling in my being I have felt the force of the North wind Sweeping through my tingling veins; and I have seen clouds form images And pictures of times long gone Forming against the rain laden patterns Of familiar horizons.
I have felt the revolution of our precious Earth And heard Her call to those who hear I have seen flora unfold In the fresh dewed greenery of deserted valleys Glittering in the pale new sunlight Of a sharp spring morning I have seen lightning split black clouds Over the gaunt sentinels of a circle of stones.
And I have heard the mighty songs of nature Listened to the voices of native gods In storms and in the repetitive pattering Of rain in teeming woodlands of shining trees I have seen the faces of the gods In soaring rainbows and in butterflys' wings I have felt the forces of moon soaked mountains Pulsing in time with my awestruck heart.
