Okay - I had to put my mod hat on and delete or edit a few posts which were about specific people and moots.
If you don't like it take it up with me off the board and in real life - I will not get into an online discussion about it.

And now with my own hat on! Perhaps we should all take a good long look at ourselves and say "this is where the change begins", with myself, with me not taking everything anyone says personally, with me being able to seperate when people not liking what I do from not liking what I am, with self honesty and self appraisal. Hi Rhi. I don't know what goes on at moots , or with personal bitching. Nor do I want to, but I think we all take criticism personally, it's part of our nature. I for one used to bite back very quickly. Now I try (......yes, I said try , dunt always work ) to ignore it. Years of p*** taking about me being a Scout leader sort of made me thick skinned . My answer now is "if you don't like me, or don't like what I do...Tough. It's no loss to me". I make no excuses to friends and/or family about my beliefs, and, becouse they're friends & family they accept that. Friends take you for being you. If they don't, they aint friends ! (Gods ! dunt I waffle ? ! )

i think wolf has made a very good point there, as we are all supposed to be friends then shouldn't we except each other for who we are and that includes our individual little faults bb sam

Personally, I don't aspire to an "ideal world". How tedious that would be. As has been said, we are all human. How we deal with negativity shapes who we are. Where would be the challenge in an ideal world.
I aspire to making the world around me a better one, yes. Making it perfect would just ruin it (now there's an oxymoron).
