I've checked out the maps and I reckon Waseley Hill Country Park is going to be the best view of the sunrise on Monday (weather permitting).
Is everyone else going to have to get up for work or does anyone fancy watching the sun come up?

Hi Claudia
Waseley Park is in South Birmingham - probably a bit far to go from Newcastle!
Did you get the PM I sent you - I think you've already met Tef at a moot last week? At least she thinks she's already met you.

I'm always aware of when the sun rises, thanks to my curtain rail falling off the other day. ;D Happy midsummer to you all.

It was a beautiful sunrise up at Lickey - with a surprise visit from a lot of bewildered cows and a lovely couple who'd also decided to wander up to watch the sunrise.
The top of Waseley Hill will be a fantastic site for future events - Birmingham is so lucky to have such beautiful sites within its boundaries.
Hope everyone had a good Solstice and didn't drown too much this afternoon.
Might see some of you at Derek's ritual later? 7.30 p.m. Moseley Bog, Yardley Wood Road.
