Can I put out a plea for any discarded cotton fabric such as sheets / pillow cases etc? Any fabric you want to get shut of no matter how garish? I'm working on a project to turn old sheets etc into reusable shopping bags for conservation day in September. I'd like to get some made up for sale to raise funds for the Botanics and also some kits for people to take away and make up.
So any donations will be appreciated only specification is that the fabric is clean.
Let me know if you have anything and how big a parcel it will make and I'll arrange to collect it. No plastic bags please, fold a sheet and put all the other fabric inside and knot the sheet round it.
