for those who liked my firepot here is what you need:- half used/warped/discoloured/old candles old rags/newspaper/kitchen roll/scrap paper terracotta pot stand/old heatproof dish
shred your paper & put half of it in the pot/dish
melt your wax & then pour in
add the rest of the paper so the wax soaks in leaving a few tails of unwaxed tips which you will light.

Thanks, Rob. We were very impressed with yours and I have been gathering bits of old scraggy wax for ages and wondering what to do with it. Shall do one this weekend if I've got time.

Here's a hint - do not extinguish by dousing with water!
Those at the ritual on Sunday know why!

no putting water on a paraffin wax fire is not a good idea
