I remember when i was a kid i got sunburn in wales on holiday my mom put vinegar all over i smelt like a chip shop.
now if i catch the sun i put baby lotion on as it moisturizes the skin and helps to stop peeling
Aloe Vera is great for burns, skin rashes and reducing scars mine are due to be re-potted have lots of babies if you want one let me know and i will be happy to supply. The trick is to water them a little and often if you want to focus on one big plant or if you want to get lots of baby ones water more less often

Yeh yeh yeh yeh yeh Didn't know you could grow them indoors here (Thailand being a bit far to go for an Aloe Vera message). On the vinegar subject, it's brilliant for neutralising jellyfish stingers, and stings once you've been stung. Which is why a load of beeches in Queensland have a bottle of vinegar on them for emergencies... White Coyote ;D

Polly, it has not sprouted babies I am treating it as I would any other succulent and keeping it in bright but filtered light. The reason why plants go to seed or grow side shoots is when they are too dry. Water an Aloe Vera every other day, just enough to darken the soil and make sure it is free - draining.

I will probably start that once have re-potted this lot, have one at work that i water a little every other day and that is growing relay well, At the moment though i think i am trying to saturate the pagan community with them
