place anapple in an oven for 7 minutes after coring. remvode from the oven and sprinkle on a little cinnamon, ground cloves, a few drops of maple syrup and some chopped nuts. put back in the oven for ten minutes then serve immediately.

Don't do maple syrup it would have to use chocolate syrup instead.

Mum used to make this - use brown sugar instead of maple syrup.
You can also stuff the bit left by removing the core with sultanas and raisins if you are one of the weird people that likes them.

Medium to high temperature (so probably around 180 - 200C) (Unless we're cooking cakes the oven is either on or off and it's done with instinct!)

Well instead of filling the core with raisins why not just add a bit of fresh Cinnamon into the mix? As this complements the taste of apples very well.
