I haven't seen her since last night. I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but this has never happened before.
I'm really bloody scared.

I DO understand how you are feeling - especially if its the first time. Ours have done the same and come back - once it was 4 days.
How long have you had him/her?
If s/he isn't chipped it will be well worth having it done when she returns. Not sure how much it costs but its just one more reassurance.
Positive thoughts your way,
Pat.

Thanks.
I've had her for about a year. Really good idea about getting her chipped, I'll do that if she comes back.
(Being practical, she should be fine. She was originally a stray, so she does know how to survive on the streets).

Hope your cat returns soon , has she been spade, if not and she comes home with kitten just don't try using the CSA Cat Support Agency to find the dirty tom, on a serious note most cats are fine first time out and the chip system works well. hope shes round your legs soon.

Nearly all of my cats have gone "walkabout" at some time or other. The longest was two weeks! I am sure she will return soon with that ,"what's all the fuss about" look. Homecoming thoughts going your way.

I hope she returns safely, i don't think i could have cats for this reason alone, i'd be beside myself with worry! xx

My son's cat went missing for a few days once, when she arrived back (looking somewhat pleased with herself), he grounded her, shut the cat flap and gave her a litter tray!! She hasn't done it since!!!

I most probably never let my one out the front, but I've been letting her out the back everynow and again she seems to enjoy it so i'll be doing it more often.
Has your cat returned yet?

Did she have that smug look about her. Last time one of mine went away for a bit she came back pregnant. Definately looked like the cat who'd had the cream! I'm happy to hear she is back.

I actually suspect she may have got locked in somewhere. She ate about three meals worth of cat food when she got in.
