Every time I've seen Metallica they've been brilliant, but I haven't seen them in about 11 years now ... eeee!

Oh well then, he can get the bloody bus then Glyn!! Well that was a complete waste of time, travelled all the way down to that there London only for the car park attendant to try to charge us £25 to park at Wembley stadium, 25 f##king pound just to park the sodding car, we were starting to think that this was going to turn out to be a 'great day out', then once we had gotten into the stadium, they didn't have the bloody t-shirt that I wanted, turns out that they sold most of em yesterday at that poxy live earth show, then we got well and truly ripped off for a drink, £2.80 for a plastic beaker of coloured water that they dared to call 'coke' and £1.80 for a glass of normal water, anyway got to our seats and the band were late coming on (5 bloody minutes late they were, disgusting). Then the concert started and boy did they make up for any problems or moans that anyone may have had before hand, yes as i said they were 5 minutes late but when they then went on to play a solid 2 hours and 20 minutes and every minute was superb, they played with, for and James simply played the crowd, they played very fast, very very loud and extremely well for the whole time, then after they had played the encore and said all their goodbyes and thank yous and given away god knows how many plectrums and drumsticks it was found out that there was another 10 minutes of playing time if they so wanted it, so loads of people that had started to leave all rushed back and we were treated to another, what in the end turned out to be more like 20 minutes of superb stuff. I can definately recommend to any one thinking about going to see Metallica that they really are worth paying the money to see. Still took us well over an hour to get out of the poxy car park though and they say that the national stadium had to be at Wembley A couple for your diaries, The Damned are playing at the Robin 2 in Bilston on July 18th and NFD are playing at the Giffard in Wolverhampton on August 31st, hopefully see some familiar faces at one or both ;D

NFD - does that stand for something?
Glad to hear they were good, my brother was pleased with the show he saw as was another one of my friends.

When stopped, explain you are diabetic. They are not allowed to take it off you, by law. Start explaining hypoglycemic shock, to the die-hard arguers, and they soon shut up. The only thing is make sure the drink is in a plastic bottle otherwise they pull the "No glass allowed" routine. ;D

Hi Charlotte, NFD Did once stand for 'Noise for Destruction', but this no longer aplies as the band decided to drop it and just be known as simply NFD. I can honestly say that they are well worth going to see if you get the chance, ref Giffard Arms in Wolverhampton 31st Aug, 'Be there or, well be somewhere else' As far as not seeing Metallica for 11 years, you need go see them again, they are still superb
