what kind of responsibilities are you talking about GWEN? those kind that are ordered to use to take part in a jury? I will never take part, in that, as I feal that I could never pass judgment on another persons actions. Then take yourself off the electorial role. The bottom line is this. If you choose to exercise you democratic right to vote for, or to put another way, pass judgement on one politicians itegrity and policies over another, then you maybe required to take part in jury service. How can you on one had be part of the dictation of your morals and judgement on one had, namly through voting and not do so when asked as part of a jury? Its what civic duty is all about. Its the price we have to pay for having the vote, its the price we have to pay for having a democracy, its the price we pay for having a adverserial court system where the judicury are NOT those who decide guilt but society. I never really much care about voting for goverment partys
you are actully judging the person based on there actions which the evidence gives, without the person's actions there would be no evidence, so in a fact you really are judging that person.

If you don't take any interest in voting, then, basicly, you have NO RIGHT to comment on how the country or where you live is governed.
PERIOD.

That was not, in any shape, form, or could be interprited as being 'serky'. I was a simple statement of fact.
What you are basicly saying is, to use the venacular, "I'm alright Jack".

Unfortunately politics does affect our daily lives there is no escaping it. It affects the price of items you buy, the transport you travel around in, the house you live in, gt involved & you will have more of a right to grumble.

So what would you have? The govening party being choosen via some kind of lottery?
Talk sence.
The wonderful thing about the system we have is that almost anyone can stand for election. If you or a group of people don't agree with the candidates standing, then stand for election yourself.
Saying "I am not voting" because the parties are the same is a cop out frankly. Besides, there is a time honoured tradition of spoiling the ballot papers if you wish to protest about the candidates, why do you think the returning officer has to state the number of spoilt papers.
Sorry but you are coming across as wanting to have your cake and eat it.

honestly wolf I ant, as long as my family friends and myself aren't hurt by the partys then i'm happy the way things are, what i'm saying is now, the voting system is a scam, a blind fold if ya will, the partys have already been chosen maybe two or three days before the actual voting takes place.
thats why I wont vote.

Then next time you have a winge about something in life which is directly related to politics or is something which came about because it was something declaired in a party manifesto, don't be surprised if I tell you to shut the ^&*% up. Fair?
And, last time I checked, provision and protection of the NHS, support via Social Services, social exclusion, transport policy, expansion of airports, enviromental protection, housing, education, employment, unemployment, imigration, emigration, religious protection and sooooo many other things have bugger all to do with Bush.
You sir are a Yahoo.

No, you said and I quote :
'whoever becomings the goverment has to report to BUSH'
Not "Blair has to such up to Bush"
Please try and be consistant.
But really, you cannot comment because as you have said, YOU DO NOT CARE.
