ok carm down, there's some mis-understanding going on here, it wasn't the person i was laughing at it was the comment. i'm going to shut up before there's an issue here out of nothing. so I apolygiese to anyone that i offended.

There's a good chance that the bluebells in your garden are hybrid English/Spanish bluebells, rather than being the same as wild English bluebells. It's a shame that bluebells hybridise so easily. Anyhow, hybrids in city gardens probably don't pose a risk to wild English bluebells.

Apparently, Spanish bluebells may have been introduced to the UK as long ago as C17th. Here's one useful link on the differences: www.whra.org.uk/bluebells.htm

They look like they're Spanish bluebells - they occasionally have white flowers.
